During your 3 day Solar Thermal Training Course you will work on the first purpose built Solar Thermal training facility of its kind in the UK at the Easy MCS Academy. This will include site surveying, system specification, design & installation working with the latest Solar Thermal technology and safety equipment. The BPEC Solar Thermal Training course covers: • Introduction to Solar Thermal systems • Types of Solar Thermal Panels & Collectors • Background to Solar Thermal and the Solar Thermal market • Hot Water Storage and Installation • Site surveying & preparing to install Solar Thermal systems • Fitting Solar Thermal collectors on different applications • Plumbing layout and design • Solar Thermal Control and Power Requirements • Solar Thermal Commissioning and fault finding • Financial incentives for Solar Thermal Systems • Payback periods for Solar Thermal installations • Practical Installation of Solar Thermal panels Assessment An examination will take place on the final day of the BPEC Solar Thermal Training Course and subject to passing this, candidates will then be awarded BPEC Solar Thermal Certification. Certification Following successful completion of the BPEC Solar Thermal Training Course, you will receive a BPEC Solar Thermal Certificate and BPEC Solar Thermal ID card. You will then be able to proceed with your MCS Accreditation with the support of Easy MCS. Course Requirements Easy MCS Ltd offer Solar Thermal Training Courses with both Full Scope and Defined Scope options. The Solar Thermal Full Scope option is for a prospective Solar Thermal Installer who has a background and/or plumbing/heating qualifications. The Solar Thermal Defined scope option is for Solar Thermal Installers without a background in plumbing/heating or relevant qualifications, who are looking to assist with the installation or provide ancillary services within the Solar Thermal industry.
